Right after the divorce she stopped paying the mortgages on the houses yet continued to collect the rent checks from the renters. She never refinanced the houses into her name (they were in both of our names) and my credit score has suffered big time. She is letting the homes go into foreclosure.
Do I have any legal recourse here? Also, has anyone ever gotten their credit restored due to a similar situation by using a divorce decree to restore the credit?
Thanks,

An example of that would be the option to pay for the interlock system to have the ability to KEEP our lives in the right direction. That way we are still “monitored” to ensure we are not driving drunk and at the same time we are getting some “credit” for changing our lives, doing the right thing and living a productive responsible life.

1. Can they still come after me for the balances? If yes, how much time do they have left to collect?
2. When can my credit be restored, or at least used again?
It’s all from the state of Colorado
